PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE
The Roscommon County Board of Road Commissioners will conduct a public hearing to consider a partial abandonment of Yeti Trail, Higgins Township, from the south edge of Parcel 005-002-010-0080 to the North edge of said parcel. The hearing will be held Thursday, June 22, 2023 at 6:30 pm. Location: Road Commission Office, 820 E. West Branch Rd. (M-55), Prudenville MI. Written comments may be sent to: 820 E. The Roscommon County Road Commission (RCRC) operates under the direction of five County Road Commissioners. The commissioners are elected to six year terms, during which time they set the policies for maintenance, construction, and employees.
The RCRC employs 35 people. Our Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operation of the road commission, ensuring that the commissioner's set policies are carried out. The Road Foremen, responsible for road maintenance and construction projects, each have a crew of 12, consisting of equipment operators and truck drivers. The shop foreman is responsible for a crew of 3 mechanics.
